Staying on the Farm

Guest safety is our #1 priority during your stay.  We clean sanitize all high-touch surfaces prior to your arrival.

We offer family-friendly, air-conditioned accommodations, tranquil country atmosphere, complimentary Continental breakfast, and an optional hands-on farm animal experience for the adults and children alike.

Guest Rooms & Amenities

As a guest you get to enjoy the entire first floor of the original farmhouse (minus the kitchen) with private front door entrance.  This includes use of the living room, dining room, full bathroom, and wrap around porch. The farmhouse has the original oak wood floors throughout.  A small library of books is available to you.

We offer free DirecTV® satellite television in the living room with many channels and movies to choose from.  We also provide free UNLIMITED WiFi for our guests wanting to access the internet.

Each bedroom is furnished with snugly Virginia-made iron beds topped with an heirloom handmade quilt, numerous pillows, ceiling fan, and vintage style room-darkening roller shades.

For our guests’ comfort and convenience, guests control the temperature in the B&B using the digital thermostat in the hallway. We also provide bathroom amenities (e.g., shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.), curved shower rod, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer.  Forget your razor or toothbrush? No worries. We can provide most personal items that you may have left at home!

Complimentary Breakfast

Enjoy a complimentary Continental breakfast in your private dining room with views overlooking the blackberries and apples.  Breakfast may include fruit, yogurt, homemade bread (e.g., banana bread, pumpkin spice bread), and your choice of coffee from our Keurig® beverage station.

Farmhand Program

For those guests who want to enjoy a hands-on farm experience and are staying more than one night, you have the option of participating in our Farmhand Program. Get up close and personal with the farm animals. An unforgettable experience that the children and adults really enjoy!

Coffee Station

Whether you prefer coffee or just plain spring water from our well, a fully stocked coffee station is available to you at breakfast.  We offer a Keurig® Brewing System (adult-use only) with a large assortment of coffees.

A mini-refrigerator and freezer is provided so that guests can bring their own beverages and snack foods.  Guests must provide plates and eating utensils needed for eating food brought to the farm.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the the farm. We stringently enforce the No Smoking rule in all other areas of the farm.  Unfortunately, violations of our smoking policy will result in guests being asked to leave without a refund.

Free WiFi

We do provide free UNLIMITED WiFi service for those travelers wanting to access the internet.

Communications

Cell phone reception varies depending on your cellular service carrier.  We have found that all carriers have service, yet Verizon users have the best signal strength.

Guest Behavior

We are so saddened to have to address guest behavior after hosting over 700 guests over the last 10+ years. But sadly, the last few years have proved that times and people are certainly changing….

We kindly ask all guests to please be respectful to each other, the farm owners, and the animals that call the farm home. If guests choose to act inappropriately, local law enforcement will be called and these guests will be told to leave the farm property immediately without a refund.

Examples of inappropriate behavior include, but are not limited to, the following and will not be tolerated:

• shouting profanities or directing profane language at other guests or farm owners,
• verbally abusing or threatening other guests or farm owners,
• physically abusing other guests, farm owners, or farm animals, or
• intentionally damaging B&B or farm property.
